my name is Travis.

I’m a Sustainable Growth Strategist.

I believe in simplicity and being intentional. I love making complex things simple. To me, simple isn’t basic, it’s just easy to understand.

My favorite experiences are the ones that fall into place. Some days I can be a real go getter and will make things happen. Other days, I’ll play a part in the world around me and just let it happen.

Either way, I believe life is a journey. We often get pulled into the matrix of our daily lives. Then, like quicksand, we forget about the adventure of the journey and get swamped by the day to day struggle to get past the bills.

I love challenges. I’ve done a bunch of professional things like teaching, starting non-profits, working on ranches, bingo, legislation, etc.

I think the question we ask kids: “what do you want to be when you grow up” is a limiting question. Saying “I am a teacher” or whatever I may be at the time is an inaccurate way to define myself. The constant question limits the creativity of exploring multiple skillsets from a place of curiosity.

I don’t really like to define myself or brand my identity because I tend to get claustrophobic when I keep putting myself in a box.

I spend as much time as I can in nature especially if I can climb a tree. I appreciate eye contact and authentic connection. I work hard to be different but always pay respect to those who have taught me their ways.
