second challenge lesson

the second challenge is about discipline.

the core of this lesson is creating growth habits.

three core principles of growth habits.

first principle

growth is a slow process

Plants don’t grow over night, they grow over time with regular sun, water, and nutrients from the soil. Humans grow similar to plants. Every habit that we create comes from regularly feeding that habit what it needs to grow. When we want to do something we take action, then we become disciplined enough to do that action over and over until that discipline becomes a habit that’s a part of our nature.

second principle

discipline takes heart

Become disciplined at the things that you care about. When your discipline is fueled by things you care about, you’re able to adapt your discipline to the aspects of your life that are more challenging. Let your heart lead the way and help you learn what focus looks like through daily disciplines that fuel your heart.

third principle

routines create habits

Habits form through consistent routines. When you create a daily or weekly routine for yourself you are building steps to the order of growth. Each time you practice your routine you become better at it. You maximize your time to create habits that feel natural. Remember, you’re a natural when you learn to grow routinely.
