the third challenge is about thinking deeply.
the core of this lesson is following your curiosity.
three core principles of curiosity.
first principle
deep thinkers are curious
Your mind is naturally curious. Kids are notorious for asking why about everything. When do we stop asking why and start growing up? Why is not asking why considered mature? Or is it though? Asking why and letting your curiosity lead you down a rabbit hole is a natural way of learning.
When you sit back and ponder about life you are allowing your mind to lead itself. Your brain is a network of neurons that connect. Your mind is a network of thoughts that connect. The best way to learn is to let your mind take itself on a journey.
second principle
your mind creates your reality
From the time we were born we have been consistently gathering information and connecting dots. The dots that you connect is what you know as reality. And as you continue to learn and grow you continue to connect dots. So as you grow your reality evolves. The question is: if you want to shift your reality, what do you have to shift?
third principle
the art of contemplation
When you take time away from a screen and contemplate things in your life, you’re able to give your mind space to bring things to you. On any given day you are collecting bits and pieces of information constantly. If you give your mind the space and freedom to contemplate the information that you’ve gathered, you’re able to allow you mind to organize what you have into thoughts and ideas that make sense to you. This is an overlooked yet powerful practice, contemplation.
